While prices have increased, food quality appears inconsistent; some dishes have disappointed, with overcooked ribs and runny dressings reported. Vegan options are limited, raising concerns about its classification on platforms like Happy Cow. Nonetheless, many patrons appreciate the large family-style portions, efficient menu setup, and inviting atmosphere, with indoor and outdoor seating available. Despite a few hiccups with orders, the overall dining experience remains strong, making it a spot worth revisiting – just remember to check the closing hours before your next visit.
We pressed on, placed our order, and took a seat. At our booth, we spotted two flies on the wall that seemed stubbornly determined to stay put despite our efforts to shoo them away, making it clear that we were intruding on their territory. To our right, there was a collection of boxes scattered across several tables, as half of the dining area was being used as a prep station. My wife's meal arrived first, but her tri-tip was merely room temperature and lacked flavor. She also ordered garlic mashed potatoes that tasted overwhelmingly salty, as if they had been doused in garlic salt and then microwaved multiple times—definitely not appealing, especially since they were cold when served. According to her, the best part of her meal was the garlic breadsticks, which came in a pair and were decent enough as a starter, but hardly satisfactory as part of the main course. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, which finally arrived about seven minutes after my wife began eating. Unfortunately, the pizza was forgettable and didn’t stand out in any way. After a few slices, I started to notice a strange taste, and given everything I'd experienced so far, I decided it was best to stop eating. Honestly, I would have been better off spending my money at MOD Pizza on the other side of town.
Stonefire features a delightful array of homemade dishes, including pizza, pasta, ribs, roasted chicken, and perfectly steamed and grilled roasted cauliflower.
This was my first visit to Stonefire Grill, and I was happily surprised by everything I ordered. Before going, I read reviews and viewed pictures, and I ultimately...
I haven't been to Stonefire Grill in a long time, even before the pandemic, because I observed a drop in the quality of their food, especially their signature dishes.
The service was adequate, but when I asked about their vegan options, I was only presented with salads. After taking a closer look at the menu, I found that the only vegan items they offered were peanut coleslaw, chips and salsa, and a basic house salad. Based on this, I don't think this restaurant deserves a spot on Happy Cow.
