Their food is delicious, and even though the dishes look small, the portions are quite large! On their curries menu, they have a vegetarian section of which 7 are marked as Vegan and their starters there are 6 vegan options to choose from. Their service is super friendly! I recommend the Chana masala, the somosas, and the tofu Manchurian! I’ve also had the aloo gobhi which was also quite good! The restaurant is beaut... View all feedback.
What Gee P doesn't like about Chutney Masala:
Happy surprise to find such amazing tasting Indian food in such an unexpected location where one could get away with serving ordinary Indian food which wasn't the case here. Flavorful without an overdose of spices, yet not washed out while trying to cater to scared palates. Good portions, service was attentive, ambience nice (maybe also because we got the window side table I normally prefer in a restaurant, overlooki... View all feedback.

Went hear for our 5 year anniversary. Absolutely outstanding food. Fresh, varied menu with outstanding options for carnivores and vegetarians alike (we ordered a bunch of vegetarian dishes). The paneer Kati rolls are not to be missed! Outstanding staff!Acoustics are slightly loud but nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a few more rugs or wall hangings. One of the best mealswe’ve had in Westchester.
I don't like writing negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant on my birthday, October 18, 2022, was very disappointing. We didn't receive our dinner until around 8:30, even though we had a reservation for 7:15, and we didn't get our drinks until after our entrees. The service was very slow and it was difficult to get the attention of the servers. The cocktail tasted strange and was lukewarm. Aside from the chili chicken, which was mostly good, all of the food had an unpleasant taste. Even the papadum was overpowering, and the basmati rice had a taste that was almost like mold or heavily chlorinated water. The flavors were unbalanced, lacking salt, tang, or being too sweet. It's possible that the dishes were prepared to suit regional or more Americanized tastes, but I found them to be off or even spoiled. The staff did accommodate my seating request and were fairly friendly, but it seemed they prioritized takeout orders over in-house patrons. It was a very unfortunate experience. Proceed with caution if booking a table here.
The ambiance is pleasant and the food is good, though not outstanding. I enjoyed the chicken chettinad, which was delicious and flavorful, but could have been improved. I would consider coming back again. However, I question why the garlic naan bread is priced at $8 - that seems far too expensive.
I recently had Chutney Masala cater my husband's birthday party for 20 people and I was extremely happy with the experience. Navjot was very responsive and easy to communicate with, even offering to make one of my husband's favorite appetizers that wasn't on the menu. The lamb, chicken, and shrimp dishes were all incredibly delicious, and we were glad to have leftovers. The delivery was punctual and helped keep the surprise for my husband. The spicing of the food was perfect, especially during the heat wave, and really stimulated our appetites. I am looking forward to my next meal from Chutney Masala!
