Smithfield 's Chicken 'n -b-q

My husband and I stopped by for a snack yesterday. Cleanest bathroom I've seen in any restaurant here in Jacksonville! The food was tasty and reasonably priced. All employees were kind and helpful! We will definitely be returning.

I had a wonderful experience at the newly remolded Smithfield's. Everyone was courteous especially Omar. He made sure me and my daughter were treated with respect and care. Also the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. I cant wait to go back.

I ordered the BBQ chicken at Smithfield's, and as you can see from the picture I posted, this is not barbecue chicken. The frustrating part is that I specifically asked my server if this was barbecue chicken, and she said yes. If I had wanted fried chicken, I would have gone to KFC. Now I remember why I stopped coming here.

I now know they've moved next door, and it might seem obvious to see their new spot, but when you pull into the old parking lot—especially feeling confused and surprised—you’re more focused on the old building, trying to figure out what happened. The only thing I noticed was a small pile of dirt near the old drive-thru window. As I drove past the building, my attention shifted to merging back into traffic, so I didn’t notice any other nearby establishments. I left thinking that maybe Covid had affected their business or that there was a plumbing issue because of the dirt pile. I ultimately chose to eat at a different place that day.
