Louie's Trophy House - Kalamazoo

The experience was mediocre. We had to constantly go to the bar for refills and to check on our food. The food was average and the lunch was overpriced at $38 per person.

I tried the Beast Burger, which included an 8oz wild game patty made of elk, venison, wild boar, and wagyu, topped with bacon jam and haystack onions. It looked appetizing and I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture. The burger was delicious!

This place was a total joke! The service was absolutely terrible. We came here to celebrate our friend's birthday and were really looking forward to karaoke, which is all he wanted to do for his special day. However, as soon as we ordered our drinks, our IDs were checked. When our friend's ID was found to be expiring the next day, the waitress and manager both refused to serve him, despite him having proof that his new ID was on the way. The manager's attitude was awful and the way he spoke to us was completely unprofessional and rude. We paid for our drinks and left, feeling extremely disappointed in our experience.

This place is downtown. The service by the new waitress, Melody was fantastic. She gets a 5 star reviews for her amazing personality, great efforts and patience. Melody is wonderful. The food is mediocre at best and not really worth what they charge. I asked for a medium rare burger and I got a well done instead. The onion rings had batter that wasn't cooked thoroughly which resulted in doughy and disgusting onion rings. Overall, this place has a good vibe, but the food just isn't worth it, in my humble opinion. Thanyou to Melody for such great service to my family You were awesome.

We stopped in here for the 1st time last Saturday around 6pm before a concert at the State Theater which is only 1 mile away. We had a couple great drinks and split a Garbage burger. Holy cow is was amazing. Cooked perfectly. Tender juicy. We had the home cooked chips with the chip dip. The staff was very friendly. I love all the animals too, although my anti-hunting friends would disagree, lol. The pizza looks amazing and that's what we'll be having the next time we come back. Go get some.
