The Jetty Seafood Shack - KALBARRI

This place was busy as and queues were huge. Was told 20mins and it took 55mins. Asked for battered fish got grilled instead and pretty pathetic too. Don't recommend at all

Nice fish and chips- the fish was beautiful but we'd definitely order grilled instead of fried next time.

Picked Fish and chips for my mother's day dinner so I didn't have to cook for the night and unfortunately was not particularly impressed. I must say firstly the fish was delicious and apparently the pineapple and dim sims were great too. Unfortunately I love my deep fried bananas and I am not sure what mine was but it wasn't banana! I even got others to try it and they couldn't believe it. The chips were also under cooked so very disappointed as I had looked forward to it for some time and now uneasy about trying again. :(

On an out of season Sunday night in Kalbarri, few eating places were open but thank goodness that the Jetty was one of them. So grab yourself a couple of bottles of Little Creatures from the place next door and enjoy what are arguably the best fish and chips in Australia. Unmissable!

...then go to the Jetty Seafood Shack. Great fish, we had the spanish mackerel and some chips. Try also the shrimps, they are expensive, but really good.
