Bryants is the KC classic bbq restraunt. The fries are among the best, fresh cut and simple! The meats are freshly sliced and always very generous portions. The original sauce gets a lot of criticism but I defend it always telling people it's not a dipping sauce, it's better for cooking. I would like this restaurant a lot more if they had table service instead of counter service. I found the staff to be very friendly but a little slow and disorganized. Some of the food was really good, but some was not. My sausage sandwich was huge and very tasty as were the beans. It is always a wonderful culinary experience at arthur bryant’s. it is certainly expensive, $16.41 for a brisket sandwich, fry and a drink,) but as they can see: they get an extremely generous portion where I could not begin to finish all sandwich or the frits. it is worth it and a must stop when making a kansas city bbq tour.
Eating was good and service was friendly. fries were pretty good, but not spectacular, but the bbq itself is great. to order, they decide what they want from the menu and go to one of the indentations in the counter. asks there, and he will give it on a small tablet. put it on the register and pay, and put it on your own! a bit expensive for what it offers, but it provides decently good.
Try ordering the pulled pork with no sauce(I did, and this us what happened), and this little tub is 0.5 lbs? Maybe with the sauce. I must be spoiled by other places.
We tried a lot of barbeque places in kansas city, but this had the best braut. great taste and did not need grill sauce. they have plunged, run through and a car thru. we ran and ordered and then got our food within 2 minutes, which was great.
Today I think ive decided arthur bryants is my favorites bbq. I praise smokehouse, but if I receive an order from arthur bryants, it is a firm and I literally love everything. the fries, the broth and the flesh. I really don't like this, but now I have broken my sandwich in it and I can't say if I like it more with or without sauce. the fries are on their own faust amazing. they are like the riders at five young, so they are spectacular. I use to go to the ameristar casino until it is closed. I just discovered the off from the legendary in kc kansas and his even better than the other! how? she. a. drive thruuuuuu! I love it! I am so pumped to eat such delicious again and if they can say. I recommend it very much!
