What Jannie Rosenbaum doesn't like about Cantina Majolika:
at one of the first Sundays earlyling Sunday we wanted to drink coffee on the terrace and to eat a piece of cake. the terrace was not occupied, but there were already some visitors there. After 30 minutes a service force and our table came after the first call across the terrace that we would already get there. after the ordering, everything can then be droplet-like, with great time intervals. a piece of cake. 10 min... We were here for Sunday brunch. Good selection of food in steps. Breakfast very good, lunch okay but quite simple and desserts not very special as well. What wa s good was the fast and friendly service paired with enough room in spite of...quite some folks. That is real pleasure if people dont sit at your table but with distance. Even all the kids were not disturbing
I had boycotted the Cantina for a while because of the bad service I had received last time I went but decided to give it another try. I went for typical German coffee and cake on a Sunday afternoon. The selection was small but they...get their café from Café Endle which makes very good cakes. The staff was friendly and I had a nice seat outside on the terrace. The Cantina is located in the woods near the castle so there's no traffic noise and it's all very nice and green
Have been there twice. Nice and varied menu, two courses and coffee for Euros at lunchtime! Food was very good, nicely served. The place is modern, informal and the whole atmosphere a bit artsy inspired from the Majolica shop and museum. Good selection...of vegetarian options too
Fantastic crew, very special kitchen , tonight for dinner ee had a wonderfoul goose, the best ever tried. We followed the suggestions from Juergen and also wine was perfect. We return, for sure. Grazie mille
I was here recently on business and went to Cantina Majolika one evening. We walked through the botanical gardens which was a beautiful way to get to the restaurant and the walk was definitely worth it. The food was great and the service matched it....The menu was extensive without being overwhelming and the wine menu matched. The portions were perfectly sized and both of the dishes I tried were excellent. You can sit outdoors if it is a warm evening, which it was when we were there. There is a large indoor area as well for those not so warm evenings. I would definitely return here, particularly for a more special occasion
