Breakfast meeting with friends is much better when the food is great and coffee is fresh. Excellent crispy bread for my bruschetta. Warm inside with friendly staff. View all feedback.
What Martine Baudry doesn't like about 90 Secondi:
We went before the footy and the service was terrible it took 30 minutes before we could place our order. Then 2 of the five meals arrived 30 minutes later and the other 3 didn't arrive for another 15 minutes. I had the aracini balls...and had to send then back as they were still frozen in the centre and unedible 2 of the meals were ok the others not worthy of the price. The whole place seemed so unorganized as we we... View all feedback.
Definitely good service but pizzas left wanting in flavour dept. Serves are huge but the topping is in the centre - so a few of us left a good part of the outer "rim" on the plate. 2 of us opted for the vegetarian - Toscana & Ortalana, the others had prociustto, salami & seafood topping. The pizzas came with an overdose of rocket leaves which did not add to the flavour or look. Pizza base was thin, stretchy & chewy - not appetizing.I had heard a lot about this place but frankly my neighbourhood Domino's makes better vegie pizza - if you get the upgrade! The others liked their non-veg choices (less discerning palates :))Place is very conveniently located next to Gate 3 of Etihad - ideal convening place for a meal before an event. Hot beverages are good. We got in early before 12 noon without booking (not sure if you have to) & place filled up quickly after.
Great location next to Etihad Stadium. Illy coffee was on point, and the Italian pizzas were extremely good. Highly recommend
Attended a business lunch here and everyone said their meals were delicious. I had pasta and have had their wood fire pizza before, both were fantastic, full of flavour, fresh and good portion sizes. Recommended for anyone who enjoys quality Italian food and good service!

The first and last thing that I noticed about this restaurant was the service. It was superb all the way throughout the meal, from the start to the finish. The waitress was attentive, helpful and quick. She patiently explained to me in English all of the Italian-named ingredients that I asked about, and seemed genuinely eager to please and to do her job in a courteous, efficient and unaffected way. When I asked for a glass of shiraz, she suggested a particular wine - Mantellassi il cannola - which was indeed excellent; full bodied and fruity but not sweet. This was particularly impressive as I have noticed that, when eating alone, wait staff tend to less efficient. (Perhaps the possibility of a smaller tip is less incentive to be efficient..?)I ended up ordering linguini with napoli sauce; a variation of what was on the menu. They make whatever pasta you like with whatever sauce they offer - and I asked for the bacon to be removed. The sauce tasted homemade.I did feel that the pasta portion size wasn't very large (although I later learned that it was 80g.) When I commented on this to my waitress, a manager came to see me and offered me something else to eat, a dessert or bread, to wnsure rhat I felt satisfied. As I had mentioned that I loved the 'homemade' spaghetti (just like my Italian motherin-law makes), she also suggested that she supplement my meal with a further 'little' serve of the linguini, which I happily accepted (and which was the same size as the first - 80g!) I also asked for a second but smaller glass of wine, (as I was driving) which was happily brought.Really, I could not have been looked after better. This is the first time I have eaten at this restaurant since the new owners took over from the previously called "Il caminetto" - and the new management really want to look after their customers. What an unexpectedly pleasant experience. I'll go back to "90 secondi" for sure.
