The Ostrich is a fantastic ancient building, with the biggest fire place I've ever seen ! The staff were happy and helpful. We had an amazing steak sandwich and ploughman's lunch. Wonderful old pub, wonderful food. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Ostrich:
The Ostrich hours suggest they stay open until midnight Fri and Sat but do not be fooled. As a local pub in a quiet village they only stay open if there is enough people to. We were fortunate to get a drink at 1030pm last Sat after a wedding and only because their were hotel guests who had also just come in. Great place to stay, old coaching Inn, full of character. Fantastic bar, friendly staff, amazing food. Room is big, warm and cosy.
What a lovely gem! The staff gave a warm welcome and were friendly and attentive. Great food and quick service- highly recommend the dessert too!
