Pretty darn good food. It unfortunate that the scenery inside is pretty dated, yet the food quality and volume is very good. They also have some large tables to support groups of 8 or so. VIP has been around for quite some time, being one of the first Chinese restaurants in the city. View all feedback.

We were there on a Wed. night & were the only customers, so we were a bit apprehensive about the quality until we ate. Later, a solo man came in to dine. Anyone know why they don't answer their phone? Are they closed again?
Best sketchy chinese place 10/10 will come back many times
Got the general Tao as well as sweet and sour pork. Food was delicious, however the portions of the meat were quite small, hence the 4 star. Egg rolls were quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. Would definitely recommend.
The restaurant finally reopened!!! The canto food is absolutely amazing and delicious. 11/10 Definitely recommend.
New owners, new menu! The only place in Kingston to get authentic Hong Kong diner style Cantonese food congee, rice rolls, baked rice dishes were delicious. Glad these are now finally available in Kingston and we don’t need to trek to Toronto just for a simple meal.If you’re looking for American Chinese food, you might be disappointed.
