What User doesn't like about Le Hoang:
Average food this time - pancake disappointing but replaced with a good beef noodle dish that was fresh and tasty. A bit hit and miss. BYO alcohol is a bonus - service a little slow but friendly. I would go back and give it another try. View all feedback.

Always has been a favourite, new owner, food was terrible, menu very hard to understand, Staff hard to understand, won't be back.
Went in to try this place under new management as its been a local favourite for years. The new staff who greated us at the door and took payment at the counter where fantastic and friendly. Unfortunately that is where the good part ends. The beef pho really didnt have much flavour, and contained what looked like sausages in it. It was not very flavoursome either. The fried rice wasnt too bad, but with the price increases on the new menu, and experience we had, we wont be back.
My family and I decided on a bit of mid week dining and were surprised to see the local Vietnamese was under new management and a different name but we only discovered this upon arriving at the premises. The internet still has it listed as "Le Hoang". Menu selection was a little confusing with photos not matching description of foods on offer and the waiter's lack of knowledge made it a bit tricky to ask any questions. We ordered stir fry beef and onions, which turned out to be mostly onions (which were undercooked - see photo) the meat tasted broiled. The fried rice didn't have fresh ingredients and left a greasy taste in our mouths. The crispy skin chicken was literally all crisp and not much meat, served on a bed of what seemed like 2minute noodles! The calamari smelt a little too "fishy" and we questioned its freshness. We decided to leave early without finishing most of the food which goes greatly against my grain. The spring rolls were OK.
