We had takeaway for the first time. In the past we have eaten in. The soft shell crab yummy. The takeaway I was disappointed with. I had the Thai vegetable green curry with coconut rice. It was way to sweet and would not order this again. It does noy seem to be as good as it once was. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Thai Village:
Surroundings and staff look a bit tired and the food was reasonable.Rockling tasted as though previously frozen and the roti was the worst we had eaten anywhere.Overall, a fair meal only and don't know if we would hurry back.Friendly enough though and the place was half full. Maybe just a bad night.... View all feedback.
We decided to try another local Thai restaurant and we were not disappointed. The staff at this Thai place are friendly and attentive, always letting us know if there is a wait. One of our favorite dishes is the Spicy Thai Fried Rice. We have become regular customers here.
We accidentally discovered Thai Village, but it's definitely worth the 20-30 minute drive every time we go. The food is consistently delicious, although the service can be a bit inconsistent. They seem to prioritize takeout over dine-in customers, which can be frustrating, but the quality of the food makes up for it. No matter what I order, they always get it right, even with substitutions. Their Tom Kha Gai soup is amazing, and their Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Massaman are flavorful. However, their Coconut Rice is the best I've ever had in Melbourne. The restaurant is located on a busy street with decent parking and reasonable pricing. It's a casual spot, but one of the best Thai restaurants I've tried in Melbourne. Definitely in my top 3. Give it a try!
We stumbled upon this hidden gem of a local restaurant in Mentone and are so glad we did. The food was delicious and full of flavor. The only downside was that the Jasmine Rice wasn't quite hot enough and was a bit sticky. Aside from that, we couldn't find any faults with this wonderful Thai restaurant. We will definitely be returning.
Found this place on zomato and booked online. Had spring rolls, curry puff, Thai cake, prawn for entree. Small start but not too bad. Mains were shared and we had the pepper beef with oyster dark soy sauce vegetables. Delicious! We also had the pepper calamari and vegetables along with jasmine rice and garlic roti. Also vegetable stir fry. All very nice. Dessert was coconut ice cream and black coconut rice with ice cream. Service was friendly and overall very cheap at only $113 for 4 people.
The food from here is authentic and delicious! We had the Thai Green curry and the satay chicken with some roti bread! We devoured it and would certainly come back again! Service was great to! Thanks Thai Village!
