To be honest, we're there for the view every time. It's right on the water and the view is so relaxing and beautiful on a warm sunny day! It's next to a park which is good for taking a walk after your meal too. The food is really average. Portion is not too big either. Not many choices but good enough. It's pet friendly so you can see a lot of cute dogs while enjoying the brunch. View all feedback.
What HurricaneMeow doesn't like about Foy's Kirribilli:
I been wanting to dine in this restaurant as I always walk past there. Got there 11:55am in the UPSTAIRS dining area n wanting to order n the waiter said they only open at 12 and refused to take my order. I saw 2 ladies sitting at the terrace drinking wines already. Such bad service and inflexibility- I walked out, didn’t bother to help those small cafes with attitude. During this COVID pandemic period where many bus... View all feedback.
Local friends brought us here for lunch. You order at the window then go back to pick up your order when it's ready. Drinks are in refrigerator cases. There were several good lunch options and the setting is beautiful, overlooking the bay.
The bear franchise operates out of marinas in Sydney and the Flying Bear operates out of the Sydney Flying Squadron. The venue has a lovely view with a deck with umbrellas looking over the boats and that I really enjoyed. I had a ham and cheese croissant which was OK but a bit flat and overcooked. Ordering was simple and service was good. It was reasonably busy for a Monday morning. The bathroom is upstairs in the Foys restaurant which also had nice views and a more extensive dinner menu which interested me but I didn 't have a chance to try it.
This is one of several ‘Bear’ cafes which are all in brilliant Sydney locations, with waterfront views. This one is located in Milson Park, sitting on the wharf of the Sydney Flying Squadron, Kirribilli and looking out across the water. It’s all very casual with a small but decent breakfast/lunch menu. All the cafes offer a similar range of food and drinks. It’s a very pleasant, easy spot to meet friends for. Breakfast goes off at 11:30 and lunch starts at 12:00. There’s a kids size meal too $8) The one drawback, especially given their waterfront locations is that they don’t serve alcohol. There is an arrangement with buying it upstairs which seems to work. They also do a big trade in takeaway coffee and muffins and cakes from the front window. Milson Park is a nice spot for sitting with a takeaway coffee with friends in the park.
Absolutely love this place! Cutest cafe right on the water and the coffee is great! We were lucky to go when the Jacaranda trees where flowering which made the whole experience even better.
