On the other hand, Oscar's is a popular spot for brunch, but be aware that they do not accept reservations, so seating is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Despite some inconsistencies, both restaurants seem to have their own strengths and weaknesses.
Like many upscale steakhouses, service seems to be paramount at Old Hickory.
I recently spent a night in Orlando and decided to stay at the Gaylord Palms resort.
Ok-this used to be my favorite placeBut after my 4th visit, I'm officially done.
Hostess seated us promptly. Breakfast choices are buffet or menu - we ordered off the menu. Healthy choices are noted on the menu and I had the avocado and poached egg on toast. The entree was delivered within 20 minutes and was served hot. The menu prices are commensurate with a Waldorf Astoria but a bit pricey for the Orlando area.
Wonderful experience. Food was perfectly cooked. Waiters were extremely attentive. Can't wait to go back.
