You can't go wrong with a plate full of family style meats!!!! The white wine was okay but if you add the almsdudler it makes it much better! Very laid back, even the owners dog comes to greet you. The accordion player was a nice touch and a lot of fun. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Schreiberhaus:
First off this was one of the most fun evenings of our 10 day trip. The restaurant is very charming. We were seated upstairs, there were 4 tables of us. To me, the place was adorable. The food was served home style and even though it wasn't that good, the company and the entertainment made it perfect. The two male musicians were so entertaining, esp. the fiddle player. We were on a tour that included this as an optional dinner. So glad we decided to go! The food was outstanding! They started with a bounty of veggies, cheeses, meats and breads before continuing with the main course! We were treated with the best...roasted chicken I have ever had. There was ham, pork and sauerkraut served as well. Desert was homemade apple strudel. All of this wonderful food was accompanied by a great duo playing music! You can buy lots of what is served in the deli section of the restaurant. Great spot!!
In a former farmhouse and on the same site for more than 300 years, this tavern is a pure delight for dinner. Starters are a selection of spreads to accompany the dense, dark bread, along with pickled chilies, onions and baby corn. Entrees are ham,...chicken and sausage, again in unlimited quantities platter after platter, and sponge cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Authentic Austrian food but it's definitely the unlimited red or white wine carafes that got my attention! Location is deep in the Vienna Woods with stunning views of the city, simply stunning after dark.
Am 20.5.2022 haben wir die Hochzeit meines Sohnes gefeiert. Ich kann diesen Heurigen nur empfehlen. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, das Essen wunderbar und alle Wünsche werden, wenn möglich, erfüllt. An diesem Tag hatten wir 30°, daher haben wir im sehr schönen Gastgarten gesessen, umgeben von Weingärten, wo ein wunderbares Lüfterl wehte. Vielen Dank nochmals für den gelungenen Tag und an das sehr nette Personal.
Bin sehr zufrieden mit essen ,Ambiente und Personal.Top Küche, und wunderschöne alte Heurigen. Chefin Stefi war sehr freundlich und had uns sehr gute Weine empfohlen . Wir kommen wider
Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, das Essen ist gut und der Gastgarten ist unglaublich gemütlich. Auch der Innenbereich ist entzückend und hier schlägt das alte Wiener Herz noch. Besonders empfehlenswert ist der hausgemachte Knoblauchaufstrich mit frischem Brezerl oder Wachauerlaberl!
