Contribute FeedbackChaiyo restaurant offers a mix of reviews, with some praising the flavorful dishes and friendly staff, while others express disappointment in the rushed service and lack of atmosphere. The drunken noodles are particularly well-loved for their sauciness and generous portion sizes. The lunch menu is recommended for better prices, and the option for different levels of spiciness caters to various preferences. However, issues with parking and service delays have been noted. Overall, Chaiyo is a decent option for Thai cuisine, with some aspects to improve upon.
The drunken noodles at this restaurant were the best I've had in a while. They were saucy, filled with plenty of vegetables, had just the right amount of meat, and the portion size was very generous. They were happy to add extra spice if requested. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean and welcoming.
Food tastes best when prepared by happy people. The cook staff is always smiling chatting and laughing. Drunken noodle is to die for and sushi rolls are so tasty
The vibe was totally off here. They had loud, fast paced music when I went, normally at Thai restaurants there is a calming atmosphere and that was not here. It felt like everything was rushed. Our food came out quickly, and mine was wrong the firsttime probably because they were rushing. The waitresses were constantly checking on us asking if we were okay. It felt like theycouldn't wait to get us out of there. The waitress almost spilled water on the table because she was moving too fast. The foodwas fine. I did not enjoy feeling like I was being rushed and constantly being bothered. With the loud music and seeing thewaitresses stressed out running around, it stressed us out and we could not enjoy our night out. I don't recommend this place ifyou're looking for somewhere relaxing to eat.
This is my husband's favorite restaurant in Knoxville. He has fond memories of eating here during his college years and the food did not disappoint. The restaurant is small and the service was a bit slow on a Friday afternoon, but our food arrived quickly once our order was taken.
Delicious!! I went to this restaurant with a friend for sushi and it did not disappoint. The Super Crunch and UT Rolls were amazing. The Volunteer Super Dragon was good, but somewhat similar to the others. I was extremely satisfied with the generous portion sizes and the quality of the flavors given the price. I am deducting one star because we arrived early for dinner and noticed that other guests arrived after us and were seated and served before us, causing a slight delay in receiving our food once we were finally able to place our order. Despite this, I would still definitely return.
