What Thad Bosco doesn't like about Puleo's Grille - Merchants:
The food was disgusting, we returned 6 out of 7 appetizers that were served to us. The poor quality meat is poorly cooked and has a bad taste. They calculated every last cent of the bill. Shame should give them the lousy customer service and the lousy quality of the food with the years they have on the market !!!!! I will never return and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. You know you've had a great experience when there is quiet at a table of chatty librarians. We had the famous fried green tomatoes, which were light with 2 delicious sauces; one gravy, the other a chipotle sauce. I really enjoyed the c chipotle sauce with fried green tomatoes, because it had a bit of a spicy kick to it. (The fgt came with the yummiest cheese grits). I had the yummy chicken waffles (also with yummy cheese grits also blueberries on the side), which with sauces added some really good layers of flavor. I tried them all. Did I mention our waitress was very patient and friendly? A superb experience!
Great service and great food!! The shrimp and grits are my new fav!!! Totally recommend stopping here!!

GO TRY THIS PLACE: The service was great! Misty our server kept our drinks filled and came by to check on us several times. She was very friendly and patient with us looking at the menu. The hostess Jada was very knowledgeable on the featured specials. We didn't have to wait long at all to be seated. The manager lady came by and checked on us. The cooks cooked the food perfect. We had a great experience trying this wonderful place for the first time.
A friend and myself we're on a business trip to Savannah,GA...we left Kentucky and stopped each evening and picked out different chain restaurants to eat at...never was satified with our meals...also ate in Savannah twice...But the whole trip was worth every mile when on the last night on the way home we stopped at puleo's grill on merchant...Brad was our server and he was very accomodating! Never once did we run out of drinks and the food was tremendous! He recommended the rattlesnake prime rib and my friend had the ribs and chicken....we were very satisfied and anytime im going through knoxville I Will Be Eating Here!! Also the manager was Chris and was pleased with our satisfaction and you could tell he was passionate about theyre service...will recommend to any and everyone...thanks
