Zum Grünen Wald - Kronberg

Great food! lovely service. worth the price!

Wir haben den Grünen Wald lange Zeit gemieden, da der Service nicht besonders gut war und man sehr lange auf sein Essen warten musste. Die beiden neuen Damen im Service waren jedoch sehr fröhlich, schnell, aufmerksam und äußerst freundlich. Unser Geburtstagsessen war sehr schön. Möglicherweise auch, da das Restaurant aufgrund des Herbstmarktes nicht so voll war. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

I'm very disappointed. The restaurant ignored my reservation and didn't let us in due to a closed company and we have to go to the Italian around the corner. The restaurant claimed that this closed Gesellschjagt had been booked for a long time. How can it be that the table was reserved via Open Table. It was pretty embarrassing for me as I had invited important business girls to dinner. I'd be happy to have a clarification on your part. Kind regards Andreas Peiker

We wanted to visit this picturesque restaurant in the old town of Kronberg for a long time. On a warm Sunday in April we used the opportunity to eat lunch on the terrace. Unfortunately, the Roastbeef was dry not pink fried as announced, but quite dry. The roast potatoes were, fortunately, better managed, but in principle it is a simple meal that only failed this day. Friendly service and a beautiful ambience.

The food here was clearly better. The service of the owner was always very special and at least nothing for us. Now that food is only average, we will not visit the locality again. Total disappointing.
