This is totally my favourite restaurant in Malaysia. The food is to die for. The people are friendly. The place is clean. And best of all no tourists. And cheap with good size servings. Full flavour food. Authentic and clean. My favourites were the fried king oyster mushroom, the salt and pepper tofu, the tomyam soup, the salted veggie taufu soup and the Ceder fried rice. But wow there are soooo many good dishes here... View all feedback.
What Jane Dhillon doesn't like about Pure Heart Vegetarian:
The menu at this restaurant seems to contain many dishes with eggs and milk, but it is not clearly labeled. Customers will need to ask the staff for clarification. As a result, I would not recommend this place for vegans. View all feedback.
Eating here tastes very nice and the ambiente is cozy. most costumes are not vegetarian and they seem to like eating here very much.

But wow there are soooo many good dishes here. Don’t come to Kuala Lumpur without coming here. Total delicious authentic dining experience all run by volunteers. Not to be missed. It does get busy on weekend nights and I’m not sure you can book tables so come earlier if you can. Otherwise you can take a number and wait for a table like everyone else.
I was surprised to discover that the restaurant's menu is mainly focused on egg-based dishes. It is disappointing that there are so few options available. It would be great if they could expand their menu to include more dishes that are not egg-based.

After dining at vegetarian restaurants in over 18 countries around the world, I have found that this one is the best so far! The quality of the food here is exceptional, and the prices are incredibly affordable. Despite being cheaper than street food stalls without air conditioning, the portions are always generous. The restaurant itself is quiet, clean, and even has a well-maintained washroom. I will definitely revisit this restaurant every time I return to Kuala Lumpur. As I am currently striving to eat vegan food exclusively, I appreciate that most dishes here can be made vegan upon request.
