Out of the osso bucco, which was unfortunate. Had the burger, which was cooked to medium rather than the medium rare that I ordered…disappointing. Decent menu I guess, just not very creative dishes and no pizzaz to the items. The cocktails were very good. Two of the desserts on the menu were not available…OK, whatever! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Montrose Town Kitchen And Grill:
Pretty average. Server was amazing and did a great job! Food was average to over spiced. Felt like spices were used to cover medium quality food. Menu is nicely put together and perhaps other items are better. We had fried chicken teriyaki, risotto, and pizza. View all feedback.
I hesitate to write a great review because I'm worried that the secret will come out. However, a large restaurant deserves to be known and recognized, and so I have to press for one paragraph or two. This restaurant is fantastic! I said it. I hope I do not regret the inevitable future of the impossibility of getting tables when the secret is fully known. Chef David and the menu are spectacular (the roasted Brussel Sprouts can be the biggest discovery for us in 2016. The servers and bartenders are wonderful. Cody is an absolute pleasure. We have dined several times here, the latest culinary experience is New Year's Eve. 24 hours later we still dream of the braided shortribs. Darn... now I'm hungry to take a ride to Montrose...
Great food! We had the grilled artichoke, short rib-Quesadilla and a beet salad, all were very tasty and served quickly. Sat at the bar, which was very clean and beautifully designed. The whole restaurant is beautiful and the staff were friendly and at their game! Total fantastic experience. Desert and wine were also delicious!! Love this place!
I lived here before the city became popular and genetically, so I was initially a bit skeptical. There is a reason why people rave over the Brussels spears. And the reserve ribs heavenly. I tried the steak frits of my friend enjoying the smoky earthness and tenderness of the flesh. And they change their menu! But please don't change the Brussels spears. Our server, Albert, said that the spits could be ordered for delivery. Thank God if I feel ugly and am too exhausted to primordialize my beads and pumps.
Fantastic meal! Had the brunch to die the potatoes, and the prices are very reasonable!... surely come back!
Really one of my all-time favorite restaurants anywhere. Food is unbelievable, the staff and owners couldn't be nicer. It has a true family-neighborhood feel, which is unique.
