Came here last week to in and had a great experience. The food was great, I had ordered the Drunken Gnocchi and loved every bite. The staff was helpful and friendly. I also ordered pizza from here and it also tastes great. View all feedback.

We visited Mattone on a suggestion from a friend. Ample parking in back which was really nice. However, the place needs remodeling and to be updated. Kind of dingy inside and just looks old. The food was good but not outstanding. Prices are not bad. Service was very good though. View all feedback.
Matone's is a classic Italian restaurant that is reliable and has been around for a long time, but may not be standout. The restaurant features a brick pizza oven in the center and serves a delicious charred Caesar salad. The atmosphere is lively yet not too loud, and the warm bread with olive oil and parmesan is a must-try. The Braciole dish was tasty but the flank steak was a bit tough in some areas. The alfredo pasta received a thumbs up from my daughter. The restaurant was busy on a Monday night, indicating its popularity. The service was attentive. While the pasta options may be limited, there are plenty of other choices on the menu.
Make sure you don 't order pizza on a Monday. The special pizza ovens are not used and the tavern style pizza is the only option. I went when the wood fired oven was in use and those pizzas are superior. The bread served before the meal is excellent. The service was not that great on Monday. The waitress knew the pizza was of poor quality but didn 't warn me. No refills on coke. Never checked back. I really enjoyed my first visit on Friday but this is not a Monday restaurant.
We hosted a graduation party for our kids at Mattone Restaurant and everything was wonderful! The food and the service were amazing! Big shout out to Grace and Liz, our servers! Thank you for taking care of our family! Everyone had a blast!
Enjoy your meal! If you're in the mood for delicious Italian cuisine paired with amazing drinks, make your way to Mattone. This restaurant is perfect for a fun night out with friends or a cozy family dinner. They have excellent dinner and drink specials. Our server was outstanding, helping us choose between two entrees. The portions are generous and perfect for sharing between two people.
I ordered a pizza for takeout on a cold Friday. The pizza was great overall, not exactly thin crust, but it was cooked perfectly. The crust had a great taste, with plenty of delicious sausage toppings and sauce that was perfectly balanced (not too sweet). This is one of our favorite spots and we will definitely continue to go back!
