I write this in english to our english visitors (french Montreuillois already know it.) The Restaurant Le Darnétal is one which reminds me much of small country restaurants in south England. Exquisite mutton in gravy sauce, delicious desserts. A must ! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Le Darnetal:
We came here on Bastille Day with high expectations. the premises themselves are somewhat dated, but kind of cutesy and the dining room is somewhat cramped. The staff are polite and business like. For starter my wife had a plate of oysters with a champagne sauce - she said the oysters were fine, but the warm sauce was a bit of a let down. Fast, mc, burger king, next to that, it's gastronomic. French cuisine has been ridiculed there. eating isn't good, but then cheating or vomiting don't even think about it. for those who love frozen food and good canteen is perfect for gastro. friendly and friendly staff. an address to be retained, especially to avoid returning. nice side: the kitchens next to the toilet separated by baited doors. French hygiene in all its splendor.
Twice when we left and we weren't disappointed. beautiful reception, nice service, nice presentation of dishes and tasty cuisine. more choice of wines in half bottle what is interesting when you are only two at table. very good value for money. We'll be back.
