the menu of the terroir is a good surprise with high quality products well cooked. A nice service without more. A decoration of the dining room of very bad taste. View all feedback.
What Louise Traore doesn't like about Auberge du Coude:
I was disappointed by the menu dish at 39€, it was a net of perches: too cooked, dry and bathed in a brown oil. without any taste. I told the waitress, who was sorry that it fell on us and was gonna report it in the kitchen. I was waiting for dessert impatiently, but there again, great disappointment! Glazed meringue with whipped: 3 vanilla ice balls covered with whipped and a hint of meringue on top! That dessert sh... View all feedback.
We had the impression of a return in the past as well in the decoration of the room, the presentation of the dishes or the holding of the servers. Why not, but at 160€ for 4 (including a little child) and just a bottle of wine, it is expensive, especially that the dishes were very uneven. The entrance to the snail was very salty and the taste of the lard shattered everything, on the other hand the melon and macvin gaspacho was good. the dish of truite sauce with the apsinth was not bad but very limited in size (a fillet of a small trout, a lot of sauce that is good but had cums, a half yellow carrot, a spelt I think and a line of purée, one remains on his hunger). On the other hand, the traditional perch was very copyy and good (we just regret the simply accompaniment of potatoes cooked with water and persilted). the cheese tray (imposed in all menus) was very impressive and for the occasion deserved the turn. The redesigned lemon pie was good without more. dessert based on meringue was, however, very disappointing (a very dry meringue round, covers completely with whipped and with a ball of vanilla ice in the middle, all without bcp of taste). On the service, it was nice for the most part, but the baba is still serving women first or not going over the guests to recover the plates, let's put it on their young age. In short, this institution has potential, but it would take a good call to question and rejuvenate. an additional point: you should also propose a children's menu more friendly than chopped/jambon steak and persilted pdt, certainly cheap (9€) but not what you would like to have in a restaurant that would be a little gastronomic
Between our arrival and the mouthing, just an hour waiting, the continuation of the idem meal...unacceptable for a note of more than 80 euros.without wine :-) forgotten covered and even the wine ordered for the meal has never arrived. We left the place without eating dessert, with the appetite gone after 9:45. No commercial gesture (such as a sincere excuse and a coffee), a very strong feeling of "these are anyway tourists who will not come back" damage, because the contents of the plates were very good.So the tourists will not return.
Few good points in the menu at 32 euros: an hour of waiting between our arrival and the tasting of the first dish of the menu. snails are relatively insipid (I am bourguignonne)., any trout net. Fortunately, the cream with absinthe is the dish. homemade breads are non-supervised bread balls. Cheese tray, the waiter doesn't even show us the cheeses. on 4 cheeses, two of them served me with the whole. and for desserts, if you don't like ice, the choice is limited. For me there is much better in the region.
This pleaserge is a breath after all modern tourist hotels. A beautiful authentic building mats very characteristic rooms. Great. And you could also eat excellent food. The fish variant of the menu relais du coude was deliciously prepared and tasted fine. Nice terrace.
