Despite some mixed experiences with the food, service, and management, loyal customers were always drawn back by the delicious offerings such as the salmon, tuna tartare, smoky groats, and cous cous. The restaurant was praised for its unique menu, with dishes like the duck breast, key lime chicken, and flank steak receiving high marks. The cozy outdoor seating and efficient waitstaff also added to the overall enjoyable dining experience. Although there were some disappointments such as the rushed service during New Year's Eve and the closure of the restaurant, patrons will fondly remember the good times they had at Yankee Pier.
I'm sorry it closed. We went there all the time for great fish.
Too bad it's gone! And what could be justification for closing another victim of corporate greed.
This is a nice local favorite in Lafayette, CA! Large wedge salad
We went for the last time. For some reason, no one can tell us yankee pier closes tomorrow. So sad, it always seemed busy, we were always satisfied with the food, the napkin and the people. It even had a lot of parking! I'm sorry to close it, we wish the staff all the best.
We went there for NYE. We made a reservation for 8PM. No one told us they closed at 9PM! Our waiter rushed us and we were out by 9:15PM... The vegetables were clearly the dregs of the batch, and the rice was cold. We were not even offered bread. Will not recommend and will not be going back.
