Lake Pepin Winery - Lake City

This is a wonderful little winery! We left with several bottles and the owners were extremely friendly.

We came across this restaurant on our way and decided to stop as we had a wine pass. However, we should have kept going. The building itself is made of stone, but that was the only positive thing about our experience. It was difficult to enjoy the wine tasting when the server was constantly touching his face and ears before handling the bottles. The quality of the wine was disappointing. Additionally, we were charged for a tasting that should have been complimentary with our pass. Overall, I would recommend avoiding this place completely. Our visit here put a damper on the rest of our day.

John was a fantastic host who is well-versed in wines and has years of experience in the industry. The selection of wines at the restaurant is both amazing and unique. It is definitely worth paying a visit.

Change your hours... just tried to show up. Website states you are open on Friday starting at noon, we show up and not open until tomorrow

My daughter and I stopped here yesterday— what a great experience! The owner was extremely friendly and the wine he suggested was excellent! We will be back!
