What User dislikes about Central Hotel Bistro:
It is disappointing to pay $42 for a steak and have it be quite fatty and full of gristle. It was beautifully cooked so kudos for that but quality was appalling not at all what I am used to with a porterhouse cut. It...was served with tepid not so creamy under seasoned mash and cold but nicely cooked veg. We were only one week in seen. but we came back to eat twice. we had seafood spaghetti and cheese garlic brot! I couldn't fail, and I'm Italian! the personal was so obligated and the place was immaculate. would we come back next time? absolutely! in a heartbeat. well done.
Prob 3.5 out of 5. meals were nice, The calamari had some weird cinnamon coating on it, which was either a mistake, or they’re trying to be too fancy with exotic flavour tests… So was the calamari it self was beautifully cooked and tender the...coating was pretty weird. The prawn linguine fettuccine I found very nice. Staff are very pleasant and attentive. Carlton draught on tap was perfect. The noise and the temperature in the bistro with perfect. Friday night parking right out front was perfect.

Went here because it was very close to where we were staying. Nice pub & bistro with usual fare. Meals were good & staff were friendly.
The local fish and scallops were very good. Staff were pleasant and when the desired dessert was unavailable, most apologetic.
