We went to Josephine's to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our menu included a note of congratulations from the restaurant when we arrived. There was a talented piano player providing beautiful music, however, we were seated right next to them and it was a bit loud at times. The food was outstanding. What User doesn't like about Josephine's:
Always just a mix of experience here. Visited one time- sat near the bar at a high top and it was excellent- visited a few months back and was convinced we would never return. (Poor service- lack of professionalism- poor food quality- temps were all wrong). Last night things were similar average. Server was attentive but has to be asked 3 times to bring the house bread. Beautiful decor. Food terrific! Staff are exceptional giving you a wonderful dining experience. Pastry chef created an elegant special dessert for a 90th birthday.
This restaurant is perfect for upscale dining. The service was friendly and efficient. Every dish we tried was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The atmosphere was elegantly unique.
Outstanding in every aspect. One of the top restaurants in the central region.
The service was very good… seating was prompt and the waitstaff attentive without being obtrusive. Unfortunately there was a table “celebrating” a birthday who thought they were in Chuck E-Cheese! Very loud. Once they finally departed, the noise level dropped immediately and the dining experience was much more typical of Josephine’s. Will happily return for the outstanding food.
