1st time here. Was very please with the service our waiteress gave us. We got the meal special that eve and it was excellent. A more local group, so it can get a little loud happy.
What User doesn't like about Villa Nova:
Very poor service, not sure if short staffed. Waited 15 minutes to get someone to come to table to take drink order, waited long wait) to get beverages. Food finally came, not correctly as ordered, had to ask the food server for our server to get asecond round and again waited way to Long. Another west to get checks and as you guessed another LONG. Friends for Dayz!!!! The appetizers and entries both come with Fritten. We prefer our fries to be crispy, but these were more on the fluffy side. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Each meal includes a variety of foods, so while the prices are higher you are still worth your money. No bad idea to spit a meal with people. Your salads are definitely packed with delicious toppings and not just your basic salads. We really like the hot pepper flair on Cheese Burger Hoagie. The outdoor area is very welcoming on a warm day with fans on the desk. We would definitely consider coming back, but it would not be our first choice. 7/10 From:King Festivals
Came here after a long bike ride Monday evening at 10 a.m. before returning to D.C. Bartender was super friendly and made me. and my lady feels like home, although we are stuck like an evil thumb. The food was great. What more can you demand.
Good beer selection and fantastic cheese steaks and hoagies. Sit this with great service and beautiful weather on the outside veranda, it made for a good meal.
When we were there, the F was moved. My friends and I had a good laugh about it. Anyway, the place is pretty cool. Nothing special in view of the number of bars we go to, and the wing sauce is actually quite standard (they taste good, but you do not write home and tell all your friends to go), but overall a great experience.
The food was good! The porch was also the perfect spot to have a drink and enjoy the weather.
