We fancied a full English breakfast so went on trip advisor and found the bow window, the weather was not great so the outside eating area was closed and unfortunately there was no way I could have got my wife’s electric wheelchair through the door. View all feedback.

Our first visit to the Bow Window but it certainly won’t be the last. Had all day breakfast which was delicious and hubby had sticky toffee pud and custard which he said was the best he’s had and I had Belgian waffle which I can’t...recommend enough. My mum and dad have been many times and recommended it and now we know why. The staff were lovely and everything was spotlessly clean.
Lovely cafe serving great food in a lovely ambiance. The chips are genuinely home made (from actual potatoes on the premises and the view across cambe Bay to the Lake District fells are superb (play name that fell' while you're having lunch). The lovely...lady who served us did assure us that, on occasions, the tide does actually come in too. As an infrequent visitor to cambe I'll have to take her word for it because I've never seen it in Suggest you book ahead and ask for a window seat for the best views.
You need to book at lunchtimes. We called on off chance and managed to get a table. Had a superb steak veg pie chops and peas and a roast beef hot ciabatta stuffed with onion gravy very good and very filling. Loose tea in teapot...served with a tea strainer, novel. Desserts looked amazing, cakes ice cream but to be honest we were too full. Great value for such lovely food. Staff were lovely, happy, pleasant and smiley.
We visited for lunch and booked a table outside- this place gets very busy at lunchtimes. Great food and very good staff, and a great view over the bay.
