What Graham B doesn't like about Kalma Family Restaurant:
went for breakfast. Had a rude server and nuts in oatmeal were beyond stale. My husband had standard eyys, bacon and toast. It was o.k. but greasy. We went there because they do quite a bit for the area View all feedback.
We are trying new restaurants in Langley and this one popped up. In a strip mall east of the casino. The menu is well stacked with lots of basic favourites and all day breakfast. The prices are good and the portions also very good. There was karaoke the Saturday evening we were there, and well the quality poor, but the Elvis wannabe was decent.
I have bee going to Kalmar now renamed Brogans Diner in Langley on Saturdays many times They have a wonderful young Elvis Tribute Artist only 19 years old Jonathon Martin Hicks Johnny Elvis also with him performing is Darlene Cozart and they always have guest performers too There is NO charge for this show 12 pm to 3 pm every Sat We go for brunch on Sat and the food is like home cooking Plenty and very reasonable If you have a free Sat come and enjoy the fun
My wife and I went to Kalma last Friday evening. I had Bangers and hash and my wife a veggie wrap; top notch on both accounts. I appreciate that the owners and staff have a soft heart for the non employed and are trying to give back to the community. I believe in charity and helping but I do not want to go out and try to enjoy the evening with those that feel that the community owes them a living. I have compassion but I also have good ethics and I feel that we should all earn our keep. I hope that giving free food and inviting the community in for free meals doesn't affect the atmosphere a common hard working husband with values would like to have his wife join him for a meal in.

Waitress was friendly, helpful and provided great service. She recommended a better deal on the menu as I was on a budget. Informed us of Lunch items we might like if we were still in the area. Nice 50's themed restaurant. Can't stress the great customer service enough. Never ending hot cup of coffee.
