Contribute FeedbackAt this local pizzeria, the ambiance impresses, but opinions diverge sharply on the overall dining experience. While some guests rave about the delicious, thin-crust pizza and attentive service, others express disappointment with overly salty dishes and lackluster service. The messy outdoor seating area detracts from its charm, and incidents of unprofessional staff behavior have been reported, particularly regarding delivery issues. Despite these drawbacks, the restaurant's great food, including well-seasoned calamari and a kids' menu, keeps some patrons returning for more. Overall, while it has its fans, consistency remains a challenge.
The service was slow and the food was overly salty, so I ended up taking it to go. The appetizer I ordered, fried calamari, had more fried jalapenos than calamari which was a new experience for me. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, but I didn't feel like it was the right fit for me.
In short, this smaller upscale restaurant and bar serves delicious NY-style pizza. I usually prefer pizza by the slice, which they do not offer here. I tried a small cheese pizza during happy hour, and although it was decent, the crust-to-pizza ratio was not the same as a jumbo slice. The outer crust was thin and crispy, with a nice little crunch. The bottom crust was on the thicker side of thin and slightly tough, but still soft. The cheese and sauce were flavorful, with a hint of oregano and fresh basil on top. The happy hour price was reasonable, but I'm not sure if I would make the trip to the city for the regular price. I may come back in the future if there's a reason to return to the area.
Love this place ! The pizza crust is awesome , thin and not stuffy . Cheese is of excellent quality. The Best Caeser salad in a very long time . Wings were excellent as well ,, prefer the mild BuffaloOur waiter Richard was awesome and very attentive . Very comfortable atmosphere .,
Kids working there were very polite. Got my pizza to go. Ordered the thin crispy crust. The meats on the pizza were good. But the crust was not that thin and was kind of bland. As was the sauce. The cheese did not taste right either. When I reheated the pizza (in the oven as you should), I added garlic salt for some flavor but the cheese was goopy and still tasted weird. Almost as if it was artificial cheese. Pizza is a personal thing. This one is not for me.
We went for happy hour and were starving! We thought the cheese pizza on this menu was going to be too small but we were happily surprised! It was a great size and so incredibly delicious! The eggplant on the happy hour menu was the best! We attacked it like there was no tomorrow!
