We sat at the bar per our usual but Teppanyaki tables were full and alive. Sam was our sushi cook and he was brilliant and personal. The atmosphere was great and the staff was friendly and efficient. Only complaint was that they had no university (Sea urchin), our Fave. You had the football match at the bar so that was a plus! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hokkaido Teppanyaki Hibachi Steakhouse:
We made reservations for dinner. The hostess was nice. Once we were seated. We ordered our drinks and Appetizers. After we ordered and the food was being cooked, the noodles were burnt. And the chef snatched a bowl of rice from a lady at our table. The chef was so rude. Then apparently i was only getting chicken when I was supposed to get shrimp and rice as well. When l said something, the chef said tat was all she p... View all feedback.
Speaking only for teppanyaki seating, can't speak for dinner table or sushi bar: This place is a machine...and executed as such with no secret intentions. If you are looking for a elongated and intimate experience to relax and enjoy yourselves...this is not for you. Place is loud and packed!!! From start to finish, they time to have you in and out...about 60 minutes. However, servers, staff and teppanyaki chef are friendly and accommodating...just efficient and trained to get you moving along. Food quality is good, portions are nice, everything is well-valued too. Nothing wrong with operations, as long as you know what you are getting yourselves into. For a long romantic dinner, head next door to La Strega. Beware: double check your charges when getting your check, some items don't match the menu.
I wish they had same restaurant in New York. It was our first experience in hibachi place. And we totally loved it. Everything was super fresh. Delicious. Tasty. I haven't ever tried such amazing noodles and shrimps. Chef was just a master of a food. He made such a food show for me and my hubby. Super professional. Very unique and so specios atmosphere. Very attentive waiters. Do suggest to book table in advance so you won't wait. Extremely happy, this place is on our top list. Will be back again, when next time in Vegas.
I was at about 5 dozen Teppanyaki sites in the country. our chef ronnie. has celebrated our friends' department and our neighbors mothers day. all sauces from scratch his own recipe that would make gorden ramsey drool. everything perfectly nailed, but with his own stuff. the show was perfect. the prep and cooking was perfect. but the vibe and craft aromen were perfectly unique. I'll be back!
I have visited this restaurant before, but I couldn't remember the name for the life of me. Luckily, I stumbled upon it again and it was just as good as I remembered. I ordered the shrimp tempura roll and fillet mignon with lobster and teriyaki sauce. Our chef, Ronnie, was fantastic and the service was excellent. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lively! I can't wait to come back again.
The food and entertainment were fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience!
