Shuler's Bar-B-Que - Latta

My husband and I enjoy watching The Profit. After seeing the show for Schuler 's bbq, we decided to drive the 40 minutes to try. Marcus Lemonis should be ashamed to recommend this place!! The reserve ribs for which one should die were so spicy that they could not eat. The dessert bar consisted of banana pudding and ice. Not worth having a dessert bar! The cookies were cold and the Mac and cheese looked like they were sitting there for the last days..hard and not good!! To finish it, everything from the place was absolutely freezing. Diners and servers also had to wear coats. We'll go back to NIE.

The best grill and ribs they ever eat! so the south-drawn swarm tastes. and all sweet and gloomy are a bonus! I would drive a 100 miles in a heartbeat to eat here again and again!

What a waste of $36.00 for a rib (3#). My husband took the ribs and I made the rest of the meal at home. We couldn't cut the ribs or chew them....had them to boil in the crockpot for a full day and then ended to throw them out.... wouldn't stop!

Her business, the desserts and sorted items had plus gourmet coffee was to die, but no one could stand the BBQ, much too salty and vinegary. Both the driver and the passenger had to throw him out after two bites. I can't eat a pig, so I'm glad I didn't order.

Am from California, was driving from Charlotte to Myrtle Beach for a work conference... was getting frustrated at the endless fast food chains that appeared to be only food options on my route. Then saw this BBQ place that had a bunch of cars in front of it along the highway... I stopped, then went in and had one of the best meals I have EVER EATEN!!! The fried chicken, meatloaf, pulled pork squash casserole and picked coleslaw were out of this world good. I considered sneaking some food out to have a snack later on the road (they have a strict no doggie bag policy) but the staff was so nice and helpful I couldn't do it. Do yourself a favor and add Shuler's BBQ to your bucket list.
