Altes Rathaus - Lauf a.d.Pegnitz

After a long day at the exhibition, it was a lovely welcoming place. Wonderful steak, salad and potatoes. Wine and crepe to finish. We all enjoyed every bite. Recommended!

The restaurant is very warm and cozy decorated. The atmosphere is very rustic as the place use to be the old town hall of lauf (1546) The service was very friendly and efficient. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Every time my husband and I want to give ourselves a treat, we end up at the Altes Rathaus..We could order with closed eyes and won't be disappointed.The deer steak is a highlight and I am addicted to the warm octopus salad..We are so happy to take our guests there and the feedback is always super positive.I highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent food, great service and the personal touch of the owners greeting their guests and inquiring about the food.This restaurant is THE restaurant in Lauf !

Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive wait staff, and absolutely fabulous fish soup with rye bread and beer. These two Canadians are already looking forward to our next visit in March, 2016.

We were invited to a birthday party of a family member on this occasion and had the "Bürgermeister" room to ourselves as a party of 20. There was a set menu but the dishes were of a very high standard and the waiting staff tended to our every need. I would highly recommend this restaurant for organizing a large special event.
