What User likes about Swamp Cafe:
Just popped in for a bite of lunch. Friendly staff, good coffee and warm place to sit. Not fine cuisine but reasonably priced and hubbie would recommend the all day Eggs Benedict. Lots of cake/slice options so a good place for a catch up in a part of town where options are a bit limited. View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Swamp Cafe:
Walking down the street come across a little cafe swamp. People coming and going a sign the locals like it must good. Went in on the cool Friday morning sat by the window looks out over a park. Looked over the menu prices are quite reasonable. I order the pancakes mmmmm they are good a must try. People are friendly. Yes I will come again View all feedback.

Unfortunately, the restaurant is unable to serve pancakes as the chef has left. Additionally, they are unable to provide information on allergens or ingredients in dishes as the chef is also not available. Customers are left waiting for 10 minutes to see the menu when the cook is not present.

The breakfast was really good. we ordered spiced egg, cut, muffin and carrot cake. the food was excellent. the personal was really friendly and the service was excellent.

The restaurant has become much more visually appealing since the recent renovations. The young man who works there on weekends provides excellent customer service and generously serves large coffees.

I would go here again if nowhere else was open. Food was fine. Nice sunny spot in the morning. Pleasant staff. Now the down side, they overcharged me and the prices are already on the high side of expensive to be fair I was...refunded when I pointed it out). My expensive cup of tea was overfilled and tasted solely of boiling water and milk. I am not a fussy tea drinker but I like to taste the tea at least a bit. Chairs were uncomfortable, even a cushion or two would help.

This cafe could be so much more, but the lack of cleanliness of it is off-putting. The coffee is ok, but nothing special and the service, even less so. Such a pity.
