Hôtel Restaurant du Château d'Ouchy

We had lunch in Chateau D'Ouchy. On the terrace with a great view on "Lac Leman". Menu is local with some international choices. Quality is impeccable. Service quick and efficient. After 12:30 it fills quickly. A perfect hang out for a relaxed Sunday lunch (NB: dinner is great too).

Fantastic dinner at this hotel restaurant. We did not stay here but as by the lake and such a nice evening we decided to eat here. Although at the entrance the menu was not in English so we asked before being seated what the menu was! Service was good and the steak and triple cooked chips we had was superb. Definitely worth a visit.

We decided to try out this restaurant based on a positive review in the Guide Michelin, and we were not disappointed. Food and wine were excellent, the service staff was very friendly and seemed really enthusiastic (as opposed to just "professionally friendly"), and the prices were quite reasonable for Lausanne. The bar also looked very nice and appeared reasonably priced (e.g. they charge CHF 20 less for the bottle of Bollinger than the bar of the Beau Rivage Palace). And the view of Lac Leman is of course priceless.

We recently enjoyed a very nice dinner with friends on the terrace, overlooking the marina. Service is great, the sommelier recommended some nice local wines which was appreciated.A menu is available for 95CHF (appetizer + entrée + dessert) which most of us chose, a la carte for others. Food can be very good, sometimes disappointing. Hits and misses.I would recommend this restaurant for the experience and the food. The value, however, is typical of Switzerland.

A very good restaurant that is part of the hotel. A very good selection of food and an excellent wine list. The staff were very pleasant and the food came quickly.
