Great service, less wait and much nicer decor than the Centropolis location. Right off the bat I'm removing a star though - because I could clearly see a child's sticky handprint on the booth seat next to me. Attention to detail, people... Besides that - amazing breakfast... Everyone loved the food, I had the Choco Coco... Sort of a tradition of mine, I've been coming here since they opened and I've always had that v... View all feedback.
What Marcelle Stark doesn't like about Allo Mon Coco:
Excellent food and waiter services. However, even with the new face up the place would be very noisy for seating across or close to the kitchen counter. The Client sitting close to the kitchen really get on the nerve hearing the blenders, the kitchen stainless shattering and clinking and whirling, The place would be much quieter if the restaurant would consider erecting a transparent glass as notice acoustical partitio... This was the original breakfast place to be. It still is very good and the portions are huge. The food is always good and they finally renovated. It is a lot nicer than it used to it and feels more open.
All the kids came home for the weekend so we decided to go out for brunch on a warm Sunday morning. As my eldest has eaten here before, she recommended it highly. We arrived at around 09:30AM just as it was starting to get busy but we were escorted to our booth quickly. Allo Mon Coco can become very crowded around anywhere between 11:00 and 1:00 and you may have to queue up to get a table so if you don't like waiting, I highly recommend an earlier arrival.I'm not overly adventurous at breakfast. I know what I like and so eggs over easy with toast, sausage and potatoes was the order of the day seemingly echoed by my eldest.I'm not going to discuss the eggs or the toast because it impossible to screw that up so let's talk about the adjuncts. The sausage was a really nice pork breakfast sausage; very juicy and delicious and the potato was something to describe. It was almost like a partially mashed potato that had been dropped onto the grill and fried lightly to achieve a crispy exterior while preserving a tender and flavorful interior to which you could get a melted cheese topping added if you so choose. My youngest daughter had the eggs and pancakes which was also served with the potato but she opted for the cheese topping. Big mistake. Once she plowed through the pancakes and eggs, she was faced with the potatoes and cheese. All in all, the service is fast and sooooo polite and the food plentiful and delicious. If I had only one detractor to say, it was that brunch for 4 came to $73 and change. A little steep for breakfast fare but good just the same.Happy Travels.
Awesome breakfast every time and very friendly and helpful staff... Very nice atmosphere.. I would definitely recommend it..
