This hotel needs some attention. Our bedroom was large and cheerless with a minimum of furniture. Our bed was comfortable and the bed linen spotless. Our shower had to be hand held lots of instant hot water though. The hair dryer barely functioned. The staff were delightful and so were the meals. The chef needed to be congratulated on the excellent meals and their presentation. View all feedback.
What Cliff Jackson doesn't like about Hotel Royal Vezere:
Stayed 6 nights here while on a Rail Discoveries trip to the area. A budget hotel, large bedrooms all with a small balcony, beautiful location by the river. Breakfasts are adequate and dinners were good. Staff were excellent. Swimming pool on roof terrace was OK but it's all the same depth so no use to non swimmers under 5'6 . Well stocked bar at reasonable prices. Wold definitely stay here again if in the area. View all feedback.
4 stars for river view and location in the center of...
Old hotel, but with four essential qualities to the traveler: A warm welcome in day and morning. Motorcycle parking and closed bike. A pool on the roof terrace Rooms from 75€ Motards and cyclists, a group stage on the road to the Dordogne!
... always closed, the terrace with a view of the verzère, the most swelling to drink a drink to "the bush", it's a shame, there's nobody, no one to welcome you, what a gachis for such a beautiful terrace not optimized, it lacks com!!! do what!
Does not know the digestives about champagne often broken especially the day before the closure. know the closing date to avoid the fifteen days preceding. very few air-conditioned rooms
Very good time spent in this restaurant. Dinner on the terrace overlooking the Vezer. on the menu: sandy and its pear fondue, accompanied by crosnes and small fresh peas and beans. a good mix of flavors. dessert a frozen chocolate mousse that had a good taste of cocoa and well balanced in sugar.
