What User doesn't like about Raj Mahal Indian:
food that turned up was incorrect order, not only that it was cold. we rang straight away and offered us a free full meal for We have just tried to order the re-imbersed deal of which all we were entitled to was a free...rice OR jalfraze. overall customer experience was poor, food was poor and cold, with no repercussion. utterly disappointed. Lovely to see a local business so busy. We ordered a takeaway today and it came exactly how we have ordered just the same as we have ordered in the restaurant. Chicken shashlik saucy and tandoori mix grill, egg friend rice and other bits absolutely lovely. Another well accredited local restaurant doesn’t seem to manage this consistency so the raj is now our go to Indian takeaway. Thank you
Had a meal here as part of my stag night last month. Unfortunately, on arrival, the only way in to the restaurant was up three steps, which was an issue for one of our party, who was in a wheelchair. However, thanks to help from Tony the waiter, we managed to get him into the restaurant, where we all had an excellent meal, along with excellent service from Tony, who was also on hand to help our wheelchair-bound friend out of the restaurant upon leaving. Overall, an excellent evening, superb food, and brilliant service from Tony.
Great welcome and conversation with our host. Food really good we had a Ghenghis Said and Lamb Achari, pilau rice and keema rice. Excellent service. Food well presented. Excellent value.
Went to this restraint for a meal the starter samosa meat undercooked cold also poppadoms the same charged £4.20 for two poppadoms and the smallest three pickle dishes so not a tray then the main meal ordered a chicken muglai the chicken pieces were red indicating that it was a pre preped tandoori chicken pieces not fresh chicken pieces horrible sauce then we was told the take away menue prices are different from eat in so they charge what they want as I asked for breakdown of my bill and to top it all off the two points of cobra ordered watered down AVOID IF WANT A GOOD NIGHT OUT
We ordered a takeaway on Saturday 23rd, basically the food wasn’t much cop and arrived warm, ok no probs benefit of the doubt and all that.Long story short my 2 kids had chicken tikka masala, my daughter left hers as she said the chicken didn’t taste right didn’t look to clever my boy ate his as he was hungry. An hour later they both had tummy ache but went to sleep 5 o’clock in the morning my son wakes up screaming in pain, he’s 10 but normally a tough cookie within 20 mins he’d thrown up 7 times luckily we’ed got him to the bathroom after the 2nd time. Other than the Indian, all he ate that day was cereal and cheese sandwich as he wanted to save himself for his meal. Needless to say we will not be ordering from here again as all the food was warm and pretty much bland £45 for that slop. I ate here 10 years ago inside and it was nice, change of personnel? Never again
