Restaurant Patakan - Leipzig

We were a 2nd class with her teacher and her horter-teacher from Herzberg on 1st. June 2023 at the Zoo in Leipzig and in the beautiful restaurant Patakan. There we were allowed to take our lunch. Already when we came in, we were welcomed very nice and friendly. All employees were extremely courteous, helpful and super nice to the children. The tables were, you can only say what was covered. Everyone got a leaflet, pens and a sticker book. The lunch was super delicious and the ice cream was still, lace!!!! Thank you very much and we come if we like to return. The Patakan restaurant in the middle of the Gondwanaland of the Leipzig Zoo is one of my favourites. The food is always fantastic. Especially the cake! The buffet is always appealing and for every hunger, whether very small or huge is always something. The Patakan focuses on the special and not on the Kantinen-Unitsbrei, which is unfortunately used to the zoo gastronomy of so many cities. In addition, the prices for quality and especially that it is part of the zoo are more than moderate. Especially families can go through offers, such as the children's menu, to eat quite cheaply beyond Pommes and Schnitzel. My children love the children's play area and there is hardly a place that is so beautiful. With the huge windows that make the jungle in front of the window a great holiday feeling. In addition, the staff is fantastic!!! Even on crowded days, with stressed families, demanding tourists and annoyed regulars, they always stay friendly, quiet and accommodating!! Hat off!
