The food was described as wholesome, fresh, and delicious, with standout items like the Beef Dip and Pavlova dessert. The cafe also offers u-pick fruit options and a variety of locally grown vegetables for purchase. Despite some mixed reviews regarding service and food quality, many customers praised the friendly staff, gorgeous scenery, and excellent pies. A great place for a relaxing lunch outing with friends or family.
I had a lovely lunch with a friend. The cauliflower soup was delightful and the eggplant sandwich was very good too. The surroundings were pleasant.
Lovely place to have lunch. Indoor and outdoor seating. We all had the soup and salad combo. Tasty hot soup and different salads to the usual. Large playground for children to play in. A short walk to the nursery.
Broxburn Café is located a short drive east of Lethbridge adjacent to Country Blooms Greenhouse. Broxburn sells vegetables at the Lethbridge Farmers Market during the growing season. They operate the restaurant from 10AM to 4PM daily , closed Sundays. We have heard good reports from other people about this restaurant and we recently made a visit for lunch. Premises are very clean and have a rural rustic look ( wooden chairs etc.) with indoor seating and a wraparound exterior deck with seating. We had a table outside on a beautiful day. There is a nice view of the expansive treed grounds with greenhouses off to one side. For lunch we chose the beef dip sandwich with baked onion soup and a Caribbean chicken sandwich with mango and pineapple together with a fresh salad accompanied by a delicious honey mustard sauce. Overall the food was quite flavorable ( the beef dip was very tender meat but seemed overly marinated so it was just a bit mushy ). Service was friendly and attentive .Prices were $16 for each meal. We would definitely go there again.
Always wonderful farm to table food and there's not much of that around here The pies are worth the drive alone
Small portion sizes, delicious food. The homemade pies are worth the trip and you will need a piece if you want to leave full.
