Rose Chinese Take Away - Lewisham

I didn't enjoy my take away from here, nothing to recommend it. Not that tasty, too greasy, too salty and just not nice to eat. It was hot though. Next time will just get a heat-up meal from M S, better all around?

Ordered crispy beef, special fried rice, chicken and cashews and vegetable chow mien. My partner got very bad food poisoning from it, vomiting and high fever. Will not be ordering from there again.

The food is good and the menu is extensive. The staff is very friendly and they offer free delivery with quick service.

Overall, I would say that most of the dishes at this restaurant are decent, although they tend to be a bit heavy-handed with the MSG. I was not a fan of the chicken dishes I tried due to the soggy texture of the meat, so I opted for pork dishes instead. I will still visit this restaurant occasionally when I can't find anything else that interests me, and the fries are consistently tasty!

I always order the same dishes - Singapore vermicelli, broccoli, and salt and pepper ribs. They are fantastic! I would definitely recommend them.
