Having lived in FL for the last 26 years and having the freshest seafood available as well as some of the most premier sushi restaurants, this was just as wonderful as any of them! Combination B with 2 Spicy Tuna Rolls was a wonderful way to go! Seating was quick, our waitress was prompt, professional and very friendly. The sushi chefs avoided certain fish we didn't like by our waitress! The presentation was graceful... View all feedback.
Update (December, 2016): Another positive experience with quality sushi rolls and steak fried rice. <br/ <br/ We definitely prefer this location (as opposed to Brannon Crossing), which offers an extremely clean, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, friendly service, and a well paced meal. The highlights of the meal were the shrimp (and vegetable mushroom, broccoli, squash and sweet potato) tempura, which consisted of perfectly thin crust that did not dominate the underlying flavors of the shrimp and vegetables, and the Teppanyaki steak, which was served with fried rice. We also ordered the Yakitori (skewered chicken), which would have been quite tasty if not overcooked on one side. As for the sushi, I agree with other reviewers in that there are certainly better options in Lexington, but overall, Asuka's sushi rolls are serviceable. I ordered the tuna, the Philly, the Surf N Turf (fried fish, asparagus and avocado, with sliced steak on top) and the Smokey Bear (fried salmon and avocado, with smoked salmon and avocado on top) my main complaints were that the sliced steak was too tough and the smoked salmon was too strong (no subtle smoke here). Yes, prices are high, but for us, there are plenty of reasons to return.

Definitely making this a place to crave !
Excellent!. I had just about given up on Japanese cuisine in our area. It seems they all cut corners, cut proper service, and have cheapened the food beyond belief. However, Asuka in Hamburg gets it right! Our Chef, Joey, prepared a meal with care. He did not clang and bang the tools to much, and he had a new trick I had not seen before-bubbling onion. My scallops were perfect, the sushi was fresh and tasty, and the rice and vegetables were cooked just right, and with seasoning as well. The wait staff, including those not working our table, all took genuine interest in our needs. That is how you do it!! Many of the Japanese restaurants in Fayette and Madison county have become a huge disappointment. We will be back and we will bring our friends! Thank You Asuka!
The sushi at this restaurant is of good quality and I especially enjoyed the salad dressing on the house salad. The service was also excellent. I will definitely be returning!
As of December 2016, I had another positive experience at this restaurant with high-quality sushi rolls and steak frites. I prefer this location over the one at Brannon Crossing due to its extremely clean, comfortable, and relaxing atmosphere, friendly service, and well-prepared meals. The standout dishes for me were the shrimp and vegetable tempura, with a perfectly thin crust that allowed the flavors of the shrimp and vegetables to shine, and the teppanyaki steak served with fried rice. I also tried the yakitori (grilled chicken), which was tasty despite being slightly overcooked. While there may be better sushi options in Lexington, I found the sushi rolls at Asuka's to be enjoyable. I tried the tuna, Philly, surf and turf (eel, asparagus, and avocado with seared steak), and the Smokey Bear (fried salmon and avocado with smoked salmon). My only complaints were that the steak was a bit tough and the smoked salmon was too strong. Despite the high prices, I still have many reasons to return to this restaurant.
