El Fogon Del Asador - Lima

My self and a coworker had dinner the first night we where in Lima. I had looked at reviews of restaurants close to our hotel and thought it would be a good place to go. It was good can't complain I had a stake and it was ok but have had better the presentation of the stake was underwhelming and odd just a slab of meat in the center of the plate and a salad on the side, no other side dishes on the plate, no potatoes, no vegetables Nada!!Will recommend giving it a pass as I hope you can do better.

It is really a good restaurant. The environment is nice and the food is delicious,their service is also very good. There was a couple celebrating birthday there,we sing the happy birthday song to him, which make us feel very lovely and happy.

Took my family for lunch on Sunday and didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality and taste of their offerings.We tried the "Chancho al Palo" and "Chancho a la caja China" as appetizers and they were enough for all 10 of us to enjoy, then we had 2 "Parrilladas Angus" which were quite good and very tasty.I highly recommend this place for a family outing as their prices are also very reasonable, about $20/person and we had lots to eat and even a good chunk of leftovers. Delicious fries and good salads also.

Great business lunch. I ordered the small "baby beef" thinking it would be veal, apparently it has to do with the cut, and marbling, as this wasn't like veal I have ever had. But, in case you thought this was going to be negative, nope, fantastic food, great sides, and the deserts were very good. Peruvian coffee is a treat, very good. OK, today's negative... apparently my cappuccino looked like a "lady's drink" I don't care, it was very good.

Good meats and well prepared, comparable in price to other upmarket steakhouses that also offer the same brands of imported cuts, but it was a little poky inside and for the same money you can get the same quality meats in a better atmosphere for my liking.
