We were looking for something light and asked the waitress if it was possible. She suggested a cheese, cold meat and salad plate to share, so we went for that. We sat on the terrace outside the theatre, across the road from the main restaurant. The wonderful platter quickly arrived with bread and our drinks and it was just perfect. Definitely recommended. This attractive café/bar/restaurant is typically French with tables on a small pavement terrace as well as inside. The set menu at 10.50€ is a bargain with choices on each of the three courses.Although wine is not included, a perfectly good house wine is also cheap, as is the coffee. The place was busy with locals, always a good sign.
In this family-run café/restaurant they have eaten many paints and have never been disappointed. the menu is written on a board in front of the door and changes every day. it's all homemade, very rustic. choice of or appetizers and or net, plus...cheese and a few desserts for a very reasonable price. many customers are people who operate circular traffic and regularly eat there. if you are looking for posh and style, it is not for you. if they are looking for a warm welcome and good honest house cookery, then they should really try this place.
We looked for something light and asked the waitress if it was possible. they smashed a cold meat and salad plate, so we went for it. we sat on the terrace outside the theater, over the street from the main restaurant....The wonderful plate quickly arrived with brot and our drinks and it was simply perfect.
