My girlfriend booked us a table here for lunch on the Saturday before Valentine's Day The restaurant itself is very nice.

Tempted in by the meringues in the window my friend and I visited yesterday.

"We were stranded in the Lions Head during the Dec 2022 storm and the owners offered us generously free meals during this time. You were very kind. They opened the restaurant during Christmas just to cook lunch and breakfast the next day and make sure we are well fed. The food was impeccable and no restaurant in Toronto can come close. The cook, terry, cooks with passion and love and you can taste it in food. I look forward to going to the lion's head under better conditions, just eating in this restaurant."
