One of the most respected dining experiences in Liverpool, the food is classic British, served in contemporay art deco surroundings. Its cleintel is mainly the higher earners, but its prices are not out of the reach if you keep to a main course and a glass of wine. The service is immpecable and you are treated very well. The building itself is nice and the service was pretty good BUT the food is not worth the prices they charge. The Watercress soup was quite tasteless and unimpressive. My wife liked her tagliatelle and prawns the only saving grace) because my Monkfish tail over shrimp and lobster risotto was terrible.
