BRILLIANT PLACE!! Camp and Furnace is in the Baltic Triangle District, it looks like a Warehouse-Style with nice street art. It has a decent selection of draft and bottled beers, cocktails, soft drinks, all available in any of the bars. Staff and facilities are excellent. Recommended by a good few people a while ago but only recently had time to visit I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place and is easy to locate... View all feedback.
What Lewis Murphy dislikes about Camp And Furnace:
So to sum it up for the money paid per person for plus courses) it was exceptional value for money and I doubt I will have many meals food wise this year that I will enjoy more. Every course had it's own very strong identity and ideas but I just wish it had been at a more appropriate venue, the highly informal venue certainly made it memorable in more ways than one. I had an amazing overall experience at this restaurant. The venue has a unique atmosphere, as it is located in a large warehouse with communal long tables. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff throughout. The portions of roast dinner were very generous, with shared vegetables among the group and no need to fight over the last roast potato. The vegetarian roast was delicious, as well as the vegetable gravy served in a separate jug. The Yorkshire puddings were also excellent, some of the best I have ever tasted. The wine selection was also top-notch. Although we didn't try any starters or desserts, I would definitely return to eat here again.
Camp Furnace may not have a fancy atmosphere, but it more than makes up for it with its excellent food and quirky, no-frills dining experience in a communal hall within a warehouse. Sunday lunch here is outstanding. It's highly recommended to book ahead, as this hidden gem in Liverpool is very popular. Doggy bags are available for those who can't finish their generous portions. Overall, Camp Furnace offers great value for money.
