The biriyani thali is my favourite.. The vegetarian buffet next door would be great if they had the hot plates. Owned by the same guy tanveer. He is a very simple and nice man.. Good decent Indian food and best biryani in Brisbane so far. View all feedback.
What Stanford Ruecker doesn't like about Top in Town Indian Restaurant & Biryani House:
Worst! experience ever. Dosa was burnt, tasted bitter like it was cooked on the same hot plate with parantha, sambar was all watery and cold, hardly could see any daal. Bhel Puri was really bitter, with only a few pieces of onion in it. We...ordered aloo paratha but got gobi paratha instead (which was half cooked and tasteless). Quality of food has gone downhill. We wouldn't recommend it to anyone. View all feedback.
Our culinary experience in top in town was for a group of five people eating was an excellent standard. the goatery and the leber perfectly complements the lamb biriyani. the flesh was juicy and well seasoned. the chole flea maus cicherebose dish was refreshing and boiled al dente. a large selection of dishes were present and they are pampered for the choice unfortunately the delicious gastronomic experience was admired by an enormous service level. I have outlined some games below the staff was forgetful and rude. essential aspects of our order have been ignored, and it required to receive repeated reminding of our food. we were asked to go quietly to...read more
My favorite meats in brisbane, as much taste and variety, and taste just as much as I had india. the staff is great, they really care about them with great serviettes and friendly chat. th biriyani’s are simply the best.
TL;DR: Indian may be on of the most common and abundant options when it comes to dining anywhere in this town, and it possibly has gotten to a point most folks here think they have tried it all. That is not even debatable, since they are mistaken especially if they have not gone into here. While it lacks any of the aesthetic, it makes up for that with a real experience of curries that are unlike what is served anywhere. It is the Miss India style of service and setting with the quality and kind of curry for those wanting something else. If a Little India (or whatever the Indian version of Chinatown or Little Saigon is) existed, you could bet your bippy dozens of these would fit in and...read more
Helpful and friendly staff. Curries are awesome and well priced. I'm hooked already. Probably lone of the better curry places I've been to in Brisbane so far
Tried the biryani and it might have been a one off bad day but the biryani was pathetic as in literally tasted like rice fried in oil... The curries were all covered with a gallon of oil...Looked awful...
