Contribute FeedbackA well-established Lebanese restaurant in London, Al Sultan has recently undergone a refurbishment to a more elegant setting. While the food is excellent and authentic, some reviewers have mentioned disappointments with the service, noting that staff need to be more attentive to customers. Despite this, the food is described as healthy, tasty fare and worth a visit. One reviewer praises the friendliness of the servers, especially towards families with children. The decor is fabulous and extensive menu is detailed with fresh and delicious offerings. While some experienced excellent service, others noted a decline possibly due to a large group occupying most of the restaurant. Overall, Al Sultan offers delicious and authentic Lebanese cuisine in a great location, making it a recommended dining choice.
Al sultan is a restaurant in the shepherd market quarter. it is on a small pedestrian zone behind park lane where there are several oriental restaurants. that is a classic Lebanese restaurant. the mezze, tapa style hot and cold dishes, change daily. there are bratlamm, filled or fried auberginen, zucchini with rice and her belt sauce, hummus natural, tabouleh, etc. the entries are 5 or 6 pfund and it takes about two or three to make a complete dinner. there are also cheese salad, spicy nuts, fish eggs in oil, spinach with cilantro. most dishes are very healthy and perfectly presented. the Shawarma style roasts are 12 pounds.
I think eating is very good here. the hommus, labneh, tabouleh, sambousek, cheese manakeish, grilled c and d sole. service is very good.
Had the most incredible evening here. Tried just about everything and it was all excellent washed down with a very fine Arak.
First, that was awesome! so delicate and not dry! very good. the falafel were mini and presented very sweet, they were a little different, but beautiful. the fattoush and tabouleh were good. the halloumi was ok and didn't cook amazing. they have made our order a little messed up, like forgetting an apple juice and mixing a coffee, but nothing important. overall it is a good place.
Was there for a quick lunch order a hummus, falafel, muhamara (quite spicy enjoyed it). for the net we ordered a mixed grill chicken (dry and some boiled). overall only one average meal, would duplicate twice before return.
